Homecoming

"I just wanted to tell you, sir, we're happy to have you back."

"Thanks, Prune."

"We all missed you."

"I'm touched."

(silence)

"What's this?"

"Just something we thought you might like, sir. After being away for so long."

"But there are only two tickets."

"I don't much like baseball, sir. It was Harry's idea."

(silence)

"Was Harry able to..."

(silence)

"I'm afraid not, sir."

"What?"

(silence)

"He couldn't do it, sir."

"My God."

"Yes, sir."

(silence)

"Where is the Reverend now?"

(silence)

"Prune?"

(silence)

"I won't get angry, Prune. Just tell me."

(silence)

"I'm afraid we don't know, sir."

(silence)

"We took the liberty of calling Felicity, sir."

"You did what?"

(silence)

"Prune."

(silence)

"Harry spoke to her, sir. We didn't know what else..."

"What the hell happening around here? I leave for one month and suddenly..."

(silence)

"The one thing I asked before I left. One thing. Was that so hard, Prune?"

(silence)

(silence)

"Oh, Prune, please don't cry."

(silence)

"I wasn't yelling at you."

(silence)

"Yes, sir."
